Brewing a Better Digital Experience for a Fast-Growing Coffee Brand

The Challenge
Creature Coffee had grown fast (located in 3 cities) but their website hadn’t kept up. Their online presence was holding them back: No clear service flow or path to purchase. Brand personality was inconsistent and unclear. Confusing layout that split user attention. Sluggish UX that created friction for warm leads. They needed a conversion-first website that could match their business ambitions and reflect the vibrant, high-end vibe of their in-person experiences.




The Strategy
As Creative Director, I led a full team through strategy, brand, UX, and copy execution to reposition Creature Coffee’s website as a digital extension of the brand’s magic.

- Clarify the brand’s personality, tone, and value proposition
- Position Creature Coffee as a premium, niche provider for events and corporate partnerships
- Ensure visual storytelling matched their high-quality service and barista engagement

With the rebrand and new site live, Creature Coffee now has:
- A brand identity that balances personality with professionalism
- A clear sales journey that moves visitors from interest to inquiry
- A central hub that works for all their offerings without overwhelming users
- A flexible toolkit (illustrations, merch, trade show assets) that reinforces brand consistency offline and online
The team reports increased confidence in sending leads to their site—and better conversion rates from those who land there.
